SIEMENS ENERGY was the host for the exchange between Berlin-based industrial companies and innovative solution providers.
Our special focus was on the discussion table AI in Production. Here, industrial needs were discussed and addressed: intelligent, flexible, and automated workforce planning.
The planitbox.ai solution aims to optimize workforce scheduling and shop floor control based on actual production requirements. Manual matching of personnel to workstations is no longer necessary, as the system considers qualifications and attendance in real time.
This increases reaction speed in case of disruptions and optimizes workforce deployment at the shop floor level. It is a perfect example of how automated solutions can significantly improve the efficiency of industrial companies.
Topics also included the necessary prerequisites such as data quality and security and a strategic approach. Most importantly, user acceptance was seen as crucial. Often, this is lacking because existing solutions ignore the daily control tasks in the production area. Not perfect plans, but dynamic tools are the key to increasing efficiency and labor productivity.
